1. Formwork: The formwork used for the construction of lightweight thermal insulation castables can be made of steel or hard wood (five plywood). The formwork must have sufficient strength, good rigidity, no deformation, no displacement, no leakage of paddles, and the rigid formwork should be painted and touched. The wooden formwork should be coated with a waterproofing agent, and the repeatedly used formwork should be cleaned first and then painted before it can be used. Inspection holes and cleaning holes should be made of plywood with regular tire molds. The metal ties for fixing the wooden formwork should be more than 4 per square meter, and the ties should be cold-welded with the anchors as the basic (that is, the ties of the formwork should be cold-welded on the anchors).
2. Water-cement ratio: The amount of water added when stirring the lightweight thermal insulation castable should be strictly controlled according to the instructions and should not exceed the limit.
3. Stirring: The stirring time of the lightweight thermal insulation castable should be no less than 5 minutes (subject to the requirements of the manual), and a forced mixer should be used during operation. When stirring, it should be dry mixed first, and then add 80% of the amount of water to stir, and then depending on the degree of dryness and wetness, slowly add the remaining water and continue stirring until it is suitable for construction operations. Clean the mixer before mixing the lightweight insulating castable.
The binders, refractory powders and light aggregates used for lightweight thermal insulation castables have different varieties and dosages, and their properties are also different; the castables mixed with water reducing agents have a significant decrease in water consumption and increase in strength. ; The addition of small bulk density admixtures can reduce the bulk density of the castable and increase its thermal insulation performance, but the strength will be doubled, and the more the amount, the better. Therefore, according to the use of the thermal kiln and the use position of the castable, the reasonable preparation and selection of light thermal insulation castables should be made to achieve the goals of longevity and energy saving of the kiln.
