High alumina refractory ball

High-aluminum refractory balls are also called high-aluminum heat storage balls. High-aluminum refractory balls are made of high-alumina bauxite as the main refractory material, adding powder, additives, and binders, after proportioning, forming, and high-temperature sintering. High-aluminum refractory The production process of the ball is similar to that of high-alumina refractory bricks, and should be determined according to factors such as the characteristics of the raw materials and the required production conditions of the high-alumina refractory balls.

1. The characteristics of high alumina refractory ball

1. Strong heat storage capacity and good heat storage effect

2. Good creep properties.

3. High compressive strength and good wear resistance.

4. Good chemical stability.

5. Good high temperature resistance.

2. The size of high alumina refractory ball is divided into: 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, 80mm and other sizes of refractory ball. The size of high alumina ball can also be customized according to customer needs. .

3. The function of high-alumina refractory balls: mainly stacked in industrial kilns, which can achieve the effect of heat storage.

4. High-aluminum refractory ball application: It can be used in industrial furnaces such as blast furnace ironmaking hot blast furnaces, high and low temperature conversion furnaces in chemical fertilizer plants, reformers, hydroconverters, desulfurization tanks and methanation furnaces.

5. Production process of high alumina refractory ball

1. Selection and classification of bauxite clinker

Choosing raw materials that meet the requirements is a prerequisite for the production of qualified products. High-aluminum clinker is the main raw material for the production of high-aluminum refractory balls. First of all, the bauxite clinker needs to be strictly sorted to avoid mixing. According to the quality requirements of different grades of high-alumina refractory balls, different grades of raw materials are selected, which is conducive to the rational use of raw materials, and the fine blending of fine materials to stabilize the quality.

2. Fine grinding of clinker and bonded clay

Part of the bauxite clinker and the combined clay are mixed and finely ground, which is an important measure in the production of high-alumina refractory balls. It is effective in improving product quality, controlling the secondary mullite reaction in the matrix, and eliminating or weakening the influence of the secondary mullite effect on the surface of the clinker particles.

3. Firing

The firing temperature of high alumina refractory balls mainly depends on the sintering characteristics of bauxite clinker. When using special grade bauxite clinker, due to the uniform and compact structure of the raw materials, the high content of impurity Fe2O3 and TiO2, the green body is easy to sinter, and the sintering temperature range is narrow, which is likely to cause over- or under-burning. Use secondary bauxite In the case of soil clinker, due to the expansion and loosening effect caused by the secondary mulliteization, the green body is not easy to sinter, so the firing temperature needs to be higher. The high alumina refractory ball can use the same firing temperature, which is 1450°C when firing in an inverted flame kiln.
