When the pool wall bricks are severely corroded and cause crushing bursts, these measures should be taken for hot repair.

When the pool wall tiles are broken due to erosion and thinning or abnormal conditions during use, measures should be taken for hot repair.

(1) Make a steel grate of a suitable area to reinforce the pulverized bursting part, which not only prevents the cooling wind from cooling the pool wall, but also protects the bursting pool wall. Suitable for pool wall tiles with a certain thickness.

(2) In the structure designed with lower gap bricks, L-shaped AZS block are used to block the head of the L-shaped brick on the inner side of the eroded pool wall to prevent further erosion of the pool wall.

(3) Tying bricks.

When the pool wall is eroded very thin, you can tie the bricks and heat it to about 80℃, but when the upper part of the pool wall has fallen off to penetrate the fire, seal the fire place as much as possible, otherwise it should be placed in a brick oven or a grill. The top of the insulation layer is covered with insulation cotton and the pool wall tiles are heated to a higher temperature. At present, some kilns have designed secondary tying bricks. When the primary tying bricks are eroded very thinly, the primary tying bricks are replaced by measures such as liquid level drop. Others adopt the method of top pool wall bricks, and use new bricks to push the layered and eroded upper pool wall bricks into the kiln in stages to achieve the purpose of replacing new bricks.

(4) The external discount water bag.

The upper part of the pool wall uses an externally attached square water bag to prevent the safety hazards of fire penetration and glass water. The water bag is generally welded with heat-resistant stainless steel, as shown in Figure 3. After the water bag burns out and leaks, it is more difficult to replace it. If the liquid level does not drop, there is a danger of running water, which is likely to cause safety accidents. For this reason, a certain height of gap bricks are fixed on the water bag, and sintered zircon or sintered zircon mullite bricks with good thermal shock resistance are selected, and the upper edge of the water bag is flush with the liquid surface to keep the water bag intact. It is exposed to the flame space without being burnt out, and does not need to be replaced during the entire kiln period.

Excellent masonry quality, reasonable oven and heating operation, correct use and maintenance of the pool wall, keep the pool wall running in a good condition, and ensure the quality of the glass, the life of the kiln, and the safety of the kiln. With the development of science and technology, pool wall bricks, like glass kilns, will make great progress in design, application of new materials, maintenance and hot repair.
