During the operation of the glass kiln, it is inevitable that the brick surface of the pool wall exposed to the kiln will be eroded. The so-called control is to delay the rate of erosion. Its control direction needs to start from the following three aspects:

1. Design, manufacture and construction

From economic considerations, different pool wall materials and thicknesses should be selected according to the life and location of the kiln, and the whole brick should be used as much as possible. When choosing layered lay-up, the upper layer uses shallow cast pool wall bricks without shrinkage holes, and the upper and lower pool walls contact the brick surfaces through fine processing to ensure that the brick gaps are small. Choose a pool wall brick manufacturer with good reputation and trustworthy quality to purchase, to ensure the physical and chemical indicators and processing of the brick: precision. When laying bricks on the pool wall, the construction quality is guaranteed, the size of the brick joints meets the requirements, the upper and lower contact surfaces are tight, and the bricks are not damaged.

2. In terms of baking kiln

Check and clean the expansion joints around the pool wall before ignition. Design a scientific and reasonable heating curve and ensure the quality of the kiln. Since the expansion change of fused refractories is relatively large at 1000~1100℃, design a heat preservation process and increase the temperature of the kiln with excessive fire as much as possible, and reduce the kiln's resistance to the pool when the kiln is over fire. Impact of wall tiles. When the kiln temperature rises to about 300℃, the pool wall cooling fan is turned on. As the temperature gradually rises, the cooling air volume gradually increases. When in normal production, the air blows normally to prevent the pool wall bricks from smashing and bursting. Adjust the iron parts of the top pool wall tiles in time.

3. Operation

(1) Melting operation:

Improve the melting operation ability to ensure the "four major stability" and "four small stability", especially to avoid large changes in the position of the stockpile, partial material and large fluctuations in the liquid level.

(2) Pool wall cooling air:

The wall tiles are corroded most severely at the glass surface at the solid-gas-liquid three-phase interface. Use the cooling air system correctly, adjust the position of the air nozzle in time, reduce the temperature here, and reduce the erosion rate. In order to avoid the bricks of the pool wall from bursting, the cooling air volume cannot rise and fall greatly, install the starter device of the fan motor for instantaneous power failure to reduce the impact of the power failure on the fan. In the event of a long-term power failure, the cooling air volume should be increased slowly after the fan is started to avoid large-scale explosion of the pool wall tiles caused by the rapid cooling.

(3) Stock pile:

The most severe part of the pool wall erosion is the part that suffers from the impact of the "Babang slit", which is much more severe than the erosion of the fused zirconia corundum brick by the pure glass liquid contacting the pool wall. There are many ways to control the stockpile, and the appropriate method should be selected according to the actual situation of the enterprise.

①Appropriately increase the temperature of the covering area of the melting part or add a "0" gun in front of the 1# small furnace, and use pure oxygen combustion technology to enhance the pre-melting effect of the batch material, shorten the length of the material mountain, and try not to form a horoscope. Thereby reducing the erosion of the pool wall by the material pile;

②Insert a guide bar in the center of the feeding pool to close the feeding stacks on both sides to avoid the eight-shaped material and achieve the purpose that the stacks do not touch the wall of the pool.

③Insert retaining water bars on both sides of the feeding tank to prevent and ease the direct erosion of the pool wall bricks by the batch materials and glass liquid, and reduce the erosion of the pool wall.

④Using a full-width or quasi-width feeding tank, and the feeding port is designed with a full-width or quasi-width feeding pool structure to make the material layer thinner, prevent partial material and reduce the angle of the stack against the pool wall. , Reduce impact erosion.
